About Ellery Care

Ellery Care exists because the “free” senior-care industry has a conflict of interest baked into it. The biggest referral sites are paid thousands of dollars every time a family moves a parent into a facility — so they only show facilities that pay them, and they have no reason to surface a facility's inspection violations, understaffing, or abuse citations.

We do the opposite. We start from the U.S. government's public quality data and present it honestly — good and bad — with no facility paying to be listed, ranked, or hidden. Our goal is simple: give families the same information a professional would use, for free, in plain English.

Who writes Ellery Care

Ellery Care is produced by the Ellery Care Research Team — writers and data analysts who compile and explain public health data. We cite primary sources on every page so you never have to take our word for it. We are not doctors, lawyers, or financial advisors, and nothing here is a substitute for professional advice.

How we stay independent
